Final Fantasy XIII Soundtrack is Out!

Just so you know, Final Fantasy XIII has finally arrived! Finally, English voices and yet another FF to play! And for the Xbox360 users suffer from slightly less graphic quality, but who cares about that?!

BTW, If you go to Gamestop, you can obtain it in your grubby hands for a mere $20 when you trade certain games in ( http://www.gamestop.com/gs/specialty/tradeins/ff13/ ).

And if you stay here, you know we've had the soundtrack for awhile, right? It's by Masashi Hamauzu. He's the one behind Dirge of Cerebus and Unlimited Saga- and was also behind more prominent works such as SaGa Frontier 2 and Front Mission: Gun Hazard.
I know it's hard to envision Final Fantasy without Uematsu, but I believe that Hamauzu stepped up to the plate, and stepped well.

Music is ambient BG music but great to relax to. The PS3 Icon and Push start tracks are , in my opinion, awesome.

About Flow
Flow seems to be a game where you take on the persona of an organism which can evolve by eating different creatures on your journey down into the deep depths of the ... ocean?
By eating certain creatures, your organism takes on the traits of the devoured entity. Some things are merely food items which colour your creature and, perhaps, I think, add a little life to your little dude. Some things give what are obviously, what I deem, ‘Hearts’ and are your health.
Fighting other creatures is done by eating their ‘hearts’ which are usually aligned in the spine area of the creature in question. Of course, each creature has their own behaviour so you have to be cunning to get some of them. A few are mindless and want to be eaten.
You navigate the world by moving your ps3 controller around in the direction which you wish to move.

NOTE: “You can see, in this game, how they moved straight onto flower.”

All creatures have a, I guess you’d call it, a special attack which is any button. The dolphin one is the best. Dash , dash, DASH..get in mah belly!
All in all, it’s not a bad game. The music is ok. The PS3 Menu Icon and Push Start music is superb...Kudos guys

Ripping the Music
Pretty simply peoples, simply finish the game then enter the first level of each stage, eat the food items, push start, prepare the recording pc, enter the first stage again whilst recording and set the controller down. (The AI will take control) (Rather decent screensaver IMO)

This isn’t a complete rip. I don’t own a PS3 and I just handed the hardware back to the owners. So the tracks with hum will just have to stay. I’ve included all rips so you can listen to them.
This rip represents a 80-90% of the music in the game. I rip this because I had the ability and the motivation to share the music that I enjoyed whilst playing the game and because I love to share and release. I am not an audio engineer. So any insults about audio quality will not be listen to and probably not understood. Constructive criticism is welcome, but pointless, since the project is over.

If you are the creator of this music, congratulations, you have made a really nice piece of art here mate. You should be proud someone has gone to the effort of making it available for everyone else. Touching many people, now doesn’t that give a warm feeling far more satisfying that money. Once on the internet, your music will live forever. Once music enters a human, it becomes part of his/her experience with the game, you don’t own that. This rip, is for those people. Too much greed nowdays...Besides, this isn’t a 100% polished product anyways.

upload issues

Hey hangman, how long does it take for the 'tracker' to remove/delete torrents?

I just uploaded two genso suikoden albums, I guess the screwed up because after uploading them, 'I' was trying to download them instead of seed them (in utorrent)

Maybe its because I was logged in for so long, then when I logged out, I got a msg saying some, js malicious error, blah.

I want to attempt at re-uploading but I won't until the two ive uploaded are remove,,hopefully automatiically.

Who's played Heavy Rain? : )

aight, so it takes about 20mins or so for a torrent to be removed.
(if it was auto or done manually by somone, I dont know)

Flying Lotus‘ third album, Cosmogramma, will be released on May 3rd, 2010 in the UK and May 4th in the US on Warp Records.

Cosmogramma will feature collaborations with Thom Yorke, Laura Darrington (who appeared on previous albums as well) and Outkast string arranger Miguel Atwood-Ferguson.

If you are an hardcore fan (like me), good news: while you wait for it, you can listen to these new four tracks extracted from the album.

Question about game-rips

On my hard drive I have MP3s for both Titan's Quest games and Sacred. They're not official soundtracks, but I didn't know if they'd be considered game-rips or not. Eventually I'd like to gather them up and post them here, so I want to make sure I label them right.

Hello, VGM users. I'm Areala. I've been gaming for a long time, and I remember holding my little tape recorder up to the TV speaker to record the stage music from Megaman II on my NES. People always looked at me funny when I said I wish they put out soundtracks to video games, but now it's finally starting to come into the mainstream, and I no longer get treated like I'm some kind of weirdo for collecting them. Still get the occasional person who is confused that a girl shops in a video game store, but even that has let up in the last few years.

In any case, I just wanted to say I love the site and I found an album in my collection that the site didn't have, so I'm trying to contribute. In this case, it's "Secret of Mana+", the concept album of arranged music from the Seiken Densetsu series. I've had this for years, and it seems like so few people know about it. With any luck, that'll change now.

Thanks for the great downloads, all you who seed!

Any way you could implement a way to see which torrents a particular user has uploaded via their profile? I know you're probably likely to think it doesn't really matter, and for the most part I agree, but it's a feature that would add to the community feel of vgmTorrents. You may also find some VGM that you had never thought of downloading through somebody's profile.

I tried building a simple list for my sig in a small font of the music I have uploaded so far, merely to see if I could do it somehow, but the character limit stopped me from updating my sig which is annoying because there were only about twenty visible characters with the rest being MyCode.

Important feature? No, not at all. Nice feature? Yeah, I think so. But you've done a stellar job with the site so far, so thank you for that. Just my musings.

Been a member for a while but haven't logged in for months. This is an awesome tracker. I just wish it wasn't neglected so much. There's so much VGM glory here, yet I feel like I'm going to get kicked off the site if I download much since there's barely anyone trying to leech the ones I do end up downloading. I might try and upload anything I can find that isn't here already, so I'll keep you posted!

Best of all though, I'm looking forward to talking to some fellow VGM fans. Even though I listen to some "normal" music, I listen to non-vocal ambient/film OST/game OST much more often. I'm really glad there's a tracker dedicated to it.

how to share a 3g internet connection

Hi,
Does anyone know how to share a 3g internet connection with other devices, without a 3g router? (PC is running Windows Vista, and I want to share the internet with two video devices, one Wifi, and the other ethernet). I do have a Linksys WRT54G router, and I also have a pair of PlugLink powerline ethernet adapters, but I can't seem to get anything to recognize that my PC actually has an internet connection, so am able to achieve only 'limited connectivity,' and a local connection.
